Save Our South Dragons

Just wonderin what you think about Pete the voice over man and Parky? I for one think Pete is great and is professional where as not quite as impressed with Parky who i find irritating!

I find Parky hard to take - I thought Glenn Manton was a lot better.

Loved Parky's call at Game 1 v Crocs - he rings someone to give away a Crazy Johns mobile phone and then says "I have to stop to talking to you now - this is costing me a fortune" and his next line is "Go to Crazy Johns for all the best deals in town".

That line was hilarious i agree! He put his foot in it. And i agree! Glenn MAnotn was much better. Parky makes me cringe, at times he is embarassing. Like the chants were in the final,. was stupid and when we do the Dragons chants, he always say dragons and it pisses me off! Hopefully he gets better as time goes on!

I think Manton asked for a large pay increase and thus he was replaced - just reckon the few extra $'s may of been worth it.

Yeah i don't know but you do think that they could have found someone better than him? Or do we really need him?? Pete does a good enough job.

He seems like a decent bloke but he just cant hit the nail on the head, Pete though is great.

YEah i love pete's voice! i want it. I just think that he doesnt have any direction! i would be surprised if he stays for next year. may get the boot!

I think a word beginning with "W" comes to mind with Parky!!!

yeah i think pete does a great job with the player intoductions. He also controls the music though, which i think needs a lot of improvement & maybe someone else to control so he doesn't have his hands full.

Glen was great last year, he is very professional and just presents himself really well. Parky on the other hand is the opposite. However, I must admit he has become much better through out the season, but still think that he just doesn't suit the role. He creates so many awkward moments & always seems to find a way to ruin the momentum of a game i.e the New Zealand thriller where he created tacky chants on the spot in the final minuets.

Who was listening to chants in the last few minutes of that game  or for that matter and close game  Just Yell .

Well it its a pretty big job, so yeah they should have another man to do the music, but also they must do it that way to save money. And i understand why they would do it! 

Pete dosn't control the Music as far as I know because you have the DJ tuck over in the corner where the dragons first come out on court!!!

Thats what i thought, but then again that may be the people who control the big screen.

Yea that was nice but it annoys me as when we get on a roll they start music instead of letting us start chants wtf is up with that? Also love the work with the phone and drowning them out.

You got in before i did! I don't feel as if they have quite got a feel on the crowd! I remeber once we got 7 points in a row and everyone wanted to chant, and then they played music! It really has been a problem all year! Hopefully they address it! I had to laugh though when little d had a sign saying bring back Manton, as that was what we were talking about before the game! It was very funny

Yea funny stuff stupid Tigers supporters though bagging little D when there were like little kids around, and using swear words and stuff like that. Its poor really they are grown adults right?
